There is nothing more important to us at Lion’s Choice than the health and safety of our guests and team members. Long before the first cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Missouri, Illinois and Kansas, we have been monitoring information and in communication with medical professionals, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), local government agencies and our internal teams to stay on top of this evolving situation.

We want you to feel confident when you visit Lion’s Choice and enjoy our famous roast beef. As a result, beginning last week, we have taken additional measures to enhance the hygiene and sanitation at all 32 Lion’s Choice locations, following the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe recommendations.

In addition to more strictly regimented hand washing procedures for our team members, we are also augmenting store cleaning procedures. We already use sanitizing solution on our tables, booths, chairs, highchairs and sauce bar surface area multiple times throughout the day. We also sanitize other guest-facing items, such as credit card machines and sauce pumps regularly.

We are also urging any team member not feeling well or displaying any flu-like symptoms to stay home.

Additionally, we are working with US Foods (our distributor) and other key supply partners to prepare for any market volatility that could potentially impact our ability to serve any of our products on an ongoing basis. As of right now, we are not aware of any such concerns.

We are closely monitoring this situation as it continues to develop, and we will do everything that we can to ensure your health and trust in Lion’s Choice.
